- Do you have a physical store?

Hemdesigners is primarily an online store, however we have a showroom in Stockholm, Solna where you are more than welcome to book an appointment for a visit - enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee and browse our available range. We are here to give you personal consultation and help you find the right furniture according to your wishes.

- Can I pay using my AMEX-card? 

Yes, through the KLARNA check-out you will find an option for card payment. There you can use your AMEX-card. 

-Do you have stores in other cities / countries? 

Currently we only have one showroom in Stockholm - Sweden, but hope to have pop-up stores in other cities around Sweden as well as other countries in the future.

-Can I find your furniture at other retailers? 

The majority of our furniture such as sofas, armchairs and bed frames are designed by us and manufactured by our skilled craftsmen. The furniture that are self-designed are sold exclusively at Hemdesigners.se

-I want to book a visit to the showroom, how do I do that? 

The easiest way to book an appointment in our showroom is to send us an email to info@hemdesigners.se or use the "Contact Us" form in the menu on the left. We review our available times and help you book a time that fits your schedule. Note that we only accept booked visits and one party at a time, in order to give you the personal service you deserve.

-How do you order fabric samples? 

You order fabric samples smoothly and easily via the "Contact us" form in the menu on the left. Please include all necessary information, such as delivery address and which fabrics you want (max. approx. 10 pcs), and we can post your samples the same day. This is a free service that we offer to help you find the perfect material for your furniture.

-How long is the delivery time? 

The majority of our furniture is made-to-order, where we manufacture your furniture after the order has been placed. The delivery time varies depending on the product you order. General delivery times are always available on the product pages. Sofas are usually delivered within 8-12 weeks. If you are unsure of the delivery time for a specific product - please contact us and we will help you.

- Do you have sofas in stock? 

Our sofas are made to order, where each sofa is made especially for you and your home. On occasion, we order individual sofas in popular models and materials that are available for immediate delivery. These are usually found in our Outlet. If there is no sofa marked with "Immediate" in the product name, it means that we do not have any sofas in stock.

-Special order, what does that mean? 

Many of our furniture are special orders according to the customer's wishes regarding size, color, material & fabric. We are proud to offer a large selection of different materials, so that you can find a choice that feels just right for your home. With us at Hemdesigners, you can be sure that you will find unique fabrics in different materials and over hundreds of colors. Please note that we do not offer returns on special order items. -How can I adapt your furniture to my home? 

Many of our pieces of furniture are created to be adapted to your wishes and needs. All sofas, armchairs and chairs with upholstered seats give you the opportunity to choose from our wide range of fabrics in different materials and hundreds of colors. The SIV series of various coffee tables, side tables and benches gives you the options to choose from several laminates that imitate wood, stone and marble. When ordering wooden chairs or tables, you choose which stain color you want. We also offer table tops and bases separately - so that you can combine your dream table. Do you have an idea for your dream furniture but are unsure whether this adaptation is possible? Contact us via email and we will be happy to help you.

-Do your sofas require assembly? 

Many of our models have a split frame, for easier handling and carrying into the home. Our sofas require no further assembly other than possibly connecting the various parts with simple coupling fittings and placing the cushions on top. All our modular sofas also come with associated coupling fittings.

-How do I know that the modules end up on the right side when I order a modular sofa / divan sofa? 

When ordering a modular sofa, you always describe how the modules should be arranged in the "Order message" box at checkout. Imagine you are standing in front of the sofa - and start from the left side. If you choose an already finished set / divan sofa, you can refer to the product image, and indicate whether the sofa should be set up in the same way or mirrored. In order for you to be sure that it will be right, we always make a sketch that you receive via email and have to approve before your order is sent off to the factory.

-Where is your furniture made? 

The majority of our furniture is made in our factories in Poland. Furthermore, we also cooperate with suppliers in Italy.

-Can I cancel / change my order? 

After you have received your order confirmation, it is not possible to cancel or change your order - Therefore, it is always the customer's responsibility to review the dimensions and model carefully before placing an order.

-I need to change my address, how do I do that? 

In the event of a change of address - contact customer support and we will help you. When paying with Klarna, a civil registration certificate and a copy of your ID document are required if you wish to carry out a change of address.

- Can I postpone my order? 

If you are aware that you need a later delivery than the specified delivery time - note the earliest delivery date in the “Order message” box at Checkout. With this information we can do our best to delay your order - provided a reasonable time frame, NOTE. this is not a guarantee. If you wish to postpone your order without noting this directly when ordering, it is not possible. We are not able to keep furniture at the warehouse. 

- I have not received an order confirmation, what do I do? 

After you place your order, we process it and prepare an order confirmation - normally you will receive it within 1-3 working days. If the necessary information is not provided when you have placed your order, we will contact you via the email address provided to confirm your choices. In such a case, it may take a little longer before you receive your order confirmation. If you have not received a confirmation of your purchase, it may be that your order has not gone through. Always double check your junk mail and whether you entered the correct email address when ordering. If you still do not receive an order confirmation, you are most welcome to contact customer service.

-What happens after I place my order? 

When ordering, you first of all receive an automatic confirmation that the order has gone through. Furthermore, your order is processed manually by us at Hemdesigners to create an order confirmation that contains additional information and any specification - e.g. your color / fabric choice. This is usually received within 1-3 working days. When ordering a modular sofa, you also receive a sketch of the set-up of your sofa, which you must approve so that it is just right. After that, it's just a matter of letting our skilled craftsmen manufacture your furniture.

-Can I return a sofa I ordered from you? 

We do not have a right of withdrawal on special ordered goods. Therefore, it is always the customer's responsibility to review the dimensions and model carefully before placing an order. More information regarding the right of withdrawal and returns can be found in the category "Purchase & Delivery Terms - Returns" in the menu on the left.

-Where is my order? Can I track it? 

All order information is received via email from our customer service. When we have received updated delivery information regarding your order, we always send an email with a preliminary delivery date. If you have any questions regarding the status of your order - you are welcome to send us an email at info@hemdesigners.se for more information. Please include your four-digit order number that is available on your order confirmation (HD ORDER: xxxx) for faster processing of your case. The majority of orders within Sweden are delivered by us at Hemdesigners. Our colleagues at the warehouse & transport department always contact you before the planned delivery to coordinate the time. For orders delivered with external transport companies, a tracking link is received when the order has left our warehouse. Orders outside of Scandinavia are usually shipped via DHL. 

-Do you also deliver to other countries? 

We offer delivery of our furniture to several countries around Europe. You will find the countries to which we deliver at Checkout. Note that the delivery costs may vary depending on where in the country you live - feel free to contact us via email if you are unsure about delivery options to your address and if the costs of delivery may vary - this generally applies to orders abroad, outside of Sweden.

-Where do I pick up my order if I choose "free shipping to Hemdesigner's showroom / warehouse"? 

Smaller items such as chairs, cushions etc. are picked up in our showroom in Solna and you will receive an SMS notification when your order is ready for collection. Larger items are picked up at our warehouse in Järfälla - time for collection is agreed with our colleagues who manage the warehouse.

-Can I get help with carrying in & assembeling? 

We only offer home delivery to street level / plot boundary / gate. When delivering, we always notify our customers when it is scheduled to take place. After that, we recommend getting the help of family, friends or an external company for help with carrying in the goods into your home if your order is too heavy for you to handle yourself. We do not offer assembly - few of our furniture require extended assembly. 

-My package was damaged during delivery - What do I do? 

Transport damage must be notified via email immediately - See the "Complaints" tab for more information on how to proceed if your order has arrived damaged.

-Can I wash my sofa? 

Depending on which sofa and which material you have chosen, different care instructions apply. Washing instructions for the respective fabrics are available on the color charts. If you are unsure about what applies to a specific fabric / sofa, you are most welcome to contact us for advice regarding care. General care advice can be found in the "Materials & Maintance" tab in the menu on the left.
